It’s been a while since I posted. I hope to go back and catch up but for now I’ll post the most recent till a miracle happens and I have tons of free time. lol. We were all together for Easter. I wonder how many more we will have with the girls getting older and soon to be going off on their own. We didn’t color Easter eggs. I felt too guilty with the bird flu and their being a shortage so there were no egg wars sadly. The girls didn’t seem to notice or just didn’t say anything. They can be so sweet that way sometimes. They never want to show if they are disappointed because they know I do try hard. They really turned out to be such good humans. I am very proud of them. And John of course was his usual funny self cracking jokes. And I doubt he missed having to hide all those eggs then try to remember where on earth he put them. One year I found one in the living room 3 months later. I’m sure the housekeepers had a running bet how long it would take me to find it. SO SAD. Here are the pics of the girls haul. I do enjoy making those baskets for them!

2017 Hoppy Easter
Ok so it wasn’t as happy as it could have been but it came back to life a little later. Katie was grumpy from staying up all night on her phone and although she promised me she would get up no problems if I didn’t take her phone she did really keep up her end of the deal. So you get a lot of grumpy Katie until she finds an Easter Egg her sister misses. Then we are off to EGG WARS! I think Hannah won.

Annual Halloween with the Stone Family 2015
Every year we spend Halloween with the Stone family. I must the adults love it as much as the kids! Here are a few pics from the kids. The most important part of the night is the candy exchange where you get rid of the candy you don’t like and exchange it with someone for the candy you DO like. It’s SERIOUS business people! This year Katie made the pumpkin pie all by herself and both girls were a big help with getting the food together. They are getting so big.
Carving Pumpkins!
The girls are getting quite good at this now that they are older. I was VERY impressed with Katie’s smiley pumpkins going for a more “Happy Halloween” theme this year and Hannah with her creative witch and Vampire balancing out with a more “Scary Halloween” theme. I did the throwing up pumpkin. A twist on my usual surprised O mouth pumpkin and Daddy did his traditional pumpkin he does every year. The man just doesn’t like change. :p
The Pumpkin Patch
Well our favorite pumpkin patch got moved. But it was such a delight to find it closer and had almost all the same goodies as before. As usual Farmer Ganyard was full of information on how to remove mold from the pumpkins, how many TONS of corn were in the corn roll and how the flour makes your feet soft after a tumble. Thankfully the girls still haven’t outgrown it and I hope they never do…

The Egg Wars!
Ok. So this really cracks me up. We have egg wars every year with our Easter eggs for the Champion egg. Something we always did when I was a kid. Most of the time it’s just between Katie and Hannah but last year Lacey joined the fun. This year Mema was in on it and I love these pictures!!! Cracks me up!
Bad Mommy: Dying Easter Eggs AGAIN
Well bad Mommy forgot to pack the Easter Eggs for the beach. It’s a struggle to remember every time we go because they are in the fridge and I never think that I might need something from the fridge. But it turned out pretty nice since our dye wasn’t that good this year and Mema, Aunt Vicki and Uncle Rick got to dye one too! And lastly Uncle Rick got them a hammock for the beach which you will see them enjoying at the end.

April Fools!
This has always been one of our favorite holidays. We do love some Tom Foolery! I usually fool the kids with fake food i.e. meatloaf dressed up as a cupcake and pound cake that looks like a grilled cheese. But they know my tricks now so I had to step it up and try something new this year. AND we have never pulled anything on Daddy so we decided to get him too! This years tricks included this lovely sign on Daddy’s car on the way to work. Of course he got me back by texting me telling me he got pulled over for it. NOT. Then we had my balloon cupcakes that kind of flopped because the icing (whip cream) melted in the fridge. Next time I’ll use real icing. Hannah joked around with them anyway. We had jello instead of kool-aid which Hannah got suspicious when it wiggled so I think I got busted there. But I got Katie with the lizard in the mailbox and spider on the toilet paper. I have a few new things up my sleeve for next year so we’ll see!!!
