I ran into one of the girls at the barn where Katie and Hannah ride. She stopped me because she wanted to share with me something funny Katie had said to her. As they were cleaning out one of the stalls Katie asked her “have you ever heard of World War II?” To which the girl replied yes. Then Katie said “yeah that was a bad time for the Jews”.  etty much the understatement of the year.

So the girls have been out of school basically for two weeks due to snow and ice. I will have pictures to post shortly. But today was the first day they went back to school. Hannah as usual not wanting to go to school after such a long break fained a stomachache. To which she escalated sore throat and other various symptoms and said I was a horrible mother for sending her to school with the stomach bug. Then she told me they (by they she meant social services) should come and take her away because I was a bad mother for making her go to school.  Just thought she might find this funny later on in life.  Poor Katie felt bad for me and came into the kitchen to tell me that she really didn’t mean it. To which I replied I knew she did not mean it and not to worry my feelings were not hurt.  Both of them are so cute and funny in their own ways.
